The night greets the morning

Hello to all dear friends and welcome back to my blog.

In the article I wrote yesterday I spoke about Roman architecture and the fantastic aqueducts while today I share with you a much less technical and more intimate subject.

It is a watercolor painting of an imagined marine landscape.

I represented two protagonists of the painting: the sky and the fishing boats with nets on the pier.

The dominant theme of the painting is the transition from night to day, where sunrise is depicted on the right of the painting.

I wanted to highlight the task of moving clouds, which thin out in the warm morning light.

Two moments of our life, a state of quiet represented by boats, and a continuous motion that we observe in the clouds.

The dawn of the morning always comes, one of the few certainties that we have in life.

La notte saluta il mattino

Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog.

Nell'articolo che ho scritto ieri ho parlato l'architettura romana e i fantastici acquedotti mentre oggi condivido con voi un soggetto molto meno tecnico e più intimo.

Si tratta di un dipinto ad acquarello di un paesaggio marino immaginato.

Ho rappresentato due protagonisti del dipinto: il cielo e le barche da pesca con le reti sul molo.

Il tema dominante del dipinto è il passaggio dalla notte al giorno, dove l'alba è raffigurata alla destra del quadro.

Ho voluto mettere in evidenza l'incombenza delle nuvole in movimento, che si diradano alla luce calda del mattino.

Due momenti della nostra vita, uno stato di quiete rappresentato dalle barche, e un moto continuo che osserviamo nelle nuvole.

L'alba del mattino arriva sempre, una delle poche certezze che abbiamo nella vita.
