Car Scooping 2019 | Pt. 1

Join me on my eternal journey of capturing automotive history on the streets of the world. Part 1 of my 2019 shots, all original and taken with variety of phones and cams, mostly untouched. Let me know if you'd like to see more of a particular car.

911 GT3 RS (991)

Good to see someone actually driving the wheels off this thing as evident by the countless rally stickers the driver participated in:

I can only imagine the maintenance costs for brakes, clutches, oil and suspension parts that these hill climb and downhill stages required. Paint is in amazing condition if it is the original job.

Audi RS6 Avant (C7)

One of the coolest looking brake discs in the business.

They got the proportions so right with this gen RS6 - apparently also the first one that drives well without understeering and a very communicative chassis.

Ronaldo has one so that's another blip on the coolness scale.

BMW 8 Series Coupe (G15)

A cool customer no doubt but the thing is huge in real life as on the race circuit.

BMW X7 (G07) & X5 (G05)

Both are huge, the X5 I like but it's built for US surroundings. The X7 is just overkill but does well on packaging.

ALPINA B5 BiTurbo Touring (G31) - Fastest Production Wagon in the World

In typical Alpina fashion most people just walk by without even noticing that it's not your run of the mill 530d.

Some Classics & Youngtimers

728i (E38) with original 20" Alpina wheels

320i (E46) pre-facelift with M Package

911 turbo (993) - the first one with all wheel drive, the last one with air cooling

S Class (W140) - very rare short wheel base model, unknown drivetrain most likely a 500

Very nice 18" AMG Mono wheels

Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos! Cars are meant to be driven, and it's great to see the owner of the 911 GT3 RS doing it proper 👍

Agreed! I've never seen that many stickers on such a new model though, this must have been one hell of a run with this car. I wish the driver many more for sure! In a few years he'll sell it and it'll be the only GT3 RS with 300.000km :)))

That's one way of knowing that you've been properly enjoying your car 😄. I've never really liked the idea of keeping it in a garage all the time, so it's really heartwarming to read these stories. There are people who've driven their Porsches over a million miles, so 300,000 is definitely possible!
