Yes, it's on the other side... but it's really worth the detour! Just aside of Saint-Malo, you can visit the medieval city of Dinan, the Mont Saint-Michel, and the typical Bretagne, that have a very strong culture and historical legacy.
yes it really is ! I have so many photos to share : the castles, the fort, the intra-muros city, etc... I was born here, but the beauty of the town always takes my breath away !

It's about 40 km of the Mont Saint-Michel, in Bretagne. You can now go from paris to Saint-Malo in only 2, 5 hours thanks to the new train line.
