A piece to my mum

Over 3 decades ago, I began from a fetus laid up in her womb,
And my first nine months of existence was in her womb.

The day I came into planet Earth, she took the pains,
During my vagitus, she endured the pains.
Despite the pains then, it was her gain.

My first cry turns to her joy, not because I was a boy.

I enjoyed the sweet soft curdle of her hands while sucking the purest food for infant of my age.

I didn't have to pay her to be my maid, but she did everything out of love till this moment at my age.

Now I am of age, and it's my turn to take care of her age.

This little post is not about rhyme, but about a heartfelt expression from a son in his prime

So pause it from here if you were enjoying the rhyme.

In most of my darkest moments in life now, her voice brings me real comfort in a world full of hatred and jealousy.

I was told she heard the sound of my excitement when I was five months old, little wonder
when I'm hurt today, she feel it too.

I'm not sure anything can break the bond of a mother with her children

If there is such, I haven't seen it yet.

In the quiet moments, when some dark shadows creep her love is the light I keep within.

When life anxieties bring me down low, her sweet words of encouragement help me glow just like a sweet "Aufmunterung" that shines so bright

Through storms of doubt and waves of despair,
She stands beside me, with strength laid bare.

Her happiness dances on the winds of time,
Like a sweet melody, a comforting rhyme

With every word, she weave gentle grace and love.
A warm embrace in life's hurried race.

When the world feels heavy, and hope grows thin,
I find my refuge in her love within.

She remains my anchor, my guiding star in a no light zone, no matter the distance, no matter how far.

In her eyes, I see the kindness of decades
An oasis of compassion that dries my tears,

She listen deeply, she understand me wholy.

A healer of hearts, a nurturer of soul she is.

To cherish her always, right from the start has always been my promise and aim life.

For every moment, every laugh, every tear
She remains my treasure, my heart's sweetest cheer.

I appreciate all your love and sacrifice.
On the entire planet Earth, there's no one like you and no one will ever be like you

With every breath and heartbeats as long as there is life, I love you forever just like air fills the earth.

And just like the air would never leave the earth, my love will always remain with you till eternity.

Note:

To my friends reading this piece - could you please add more few sweet lines for my mum...? She would read them all by tomorrow. Just something to put a smile on her face. Thank you and that would do.

Dear Mrs. Ubong,

Perhaps the greatest joy for a mother is to raise a son who would care not only about himself, but also about others. Your son is a true son of the World. He cares about many people, and if he had the chance, he would help even more people. This could not appear from nowhere, only a true loving Mother could instill this in her son. I wish you health and happiness to see how your son becomes more and more successful.

Thank you so much for this. This really put smile on her face.

Responds from my mother:

Thank you so much good friend of my son, you are right. He is a good giver and always have the mindset of helping.

I am so impressed to read all the messages from his friends around the world.

Thank you for your wishes, I wish you and family good health and happiness too. Please stay safe, he told me you are from Ukraine.

This mom would be happy if the son is and also with words of appreciation about her son.

🍀♥️

Dear audience,
here you can experience the sensitive poet in our jack-of-all-trades on Steemit...

Dear Mrs. Ubong,
your son Udofot has so many talents, but you know it all. And you know how proud you can be of him. He has so many ideas and puts them into practice. My goodness, did you ever think he would manage to open a small electrical store? And so much more. Yes, sometimes even I am a little proud to know your son in faraway northern Germany. He's a funny guy, sometimes also very profound. And he's a stand-up guy. I'm very impressed by that.
Now my public praise stops, because I don't know how much I'm allowed to say. I've become a kind of confidante to your son, which I'm actually proud of. So he trusts me that nothing of all the conversations we've had will get out. And I want to keep it that way. Just this much: whatever the problem, whatever the possible solution: “And what about my mum? - No, there's still my mum who needs me. - Mum is ill, her medication has to be paid for first. - My mum feels where I am.......”
It has always touched me and will continue to touch me to feel just through words from far away Africa how much a young man loves his mother.
Udofot loves you very much, Mum... ;-)

I love this! Thank you so much.

Response from my mum:

I'm overwhelmed with emotion as I read your heartfelt message, I am so excited.

Those words about my son are so encouraging. I am happy to have read how useful my son has been in your platform. He is good in real life too. But he can mess up sometimes, pls correct him when he miss the steps.

Many times he has put my needs before his own, I see that as a blessing even though I don't side him all the time on this.

Sometimes, last year when there was an issue, he mentioned a woman with the sheep from Germany, he showed me picture. I am happy to have interact with you today. Thank you so much for your assistance those times.

It's clear that you have formed a strong bond with him, and I appreciate your sensitivity in keeping his confidences, these attributes are rare today in the world.

You are cute... ;-)

Mum Ubong, I wish you a merry and hopefully healthy, healthy Christmas.

Hugs from the lady with and the sheep... :-))

Dear Mrs. Ubong,

Reading this poem, it's clear how deeply your son loves and appreciates you. The bond you share is amazing to see and you will always be his biggest support, strength and it’s beautiful feeling for a son. You are not only his mother but his guiding light who have shaped him into the wonderful person he is today. I hope both of you will cherish this love forever.

Thank you so much buddy, she love it.

Response from my mum:

Thank you so much. Reading this has really put a smile on my face. I am impressed to see that my son is keeping some good company online. I love all the positive response from all of you and I love you all.

I apologize in advance if I write something inappropriate. We are separated by thousands of kilometers, even more than ten, different nations, different customs, different words.
I cannot find the time to participate in SLC22, an event that, over the past four months, has taken me beyond the boundaries of my community. I have met people who are very interesting to me, and I often read their posts. So far, I only communicate with them in my thoughts, but I will definitely engage with them in posts or comments.

I was deeply touched by your son's post, in which he asked us to convey a few warm words to his mother...
It seems I got to know your son much earlier. Here on the platform, he conducts interviews with its members, which, in my opinion, brings great value to Steemit. After all, it helps us get to know one another.
The other day, I noticed with regret that your son hadn't posted anything for a few days—he should fix that! Perhaps he could write about something, for example, his school years. I even promised to ask him a few questions, and I suppose I should follow through with that promise. :)
I often read his posts about solar panels, but they’re not very detailed—I’d love to see more specifics.

As far as I know, he does two good things: conducting interviews and writing about solar panels. But is this a reason to be proud of one's son? For a mother, this doesn’t matter. What matters most to a mother is simply her child. Probably no one in the world values life as much as a mother does.

Your son asked to bring a smile to your face—so may your smile never leave you. You are a true treasure in this world, and your son is undoubtedly the best proof of what a wonderful mother you are. I don't know you personally and barely know your son, but the warm words he wrote about you left me deeply moved.

Smile :) and rejoice in bright days with your son...

Hi @sergeyk, thank you so much for such a heartfelt commendation! She has read this little piece of mind and your comment too and was very happy to hear such a great remarks about me from you. She love it!

The other day, I noticed with regret that your son hadn't posted anything for a few days—he should fix that!

Oh yeah, I will fix that. Unfortunately, I was off to take care of my Mum, she is ill and it has been a tough time for us over here. Couple with that, two of my uncles are on the hospital bed as we speak. These makes it even more difficult for me to think and write freely.

Perhaps he could write about something, for example, his school years. I even promised to ask him a few questions, and I suppose I should follow through with that promise. :)

Now, I know you really cherish my present, thank you so much and trust me, I will follow this up. I will post contents when I can and when my mind is relaxed.

Responds from my mother: Hello my brother, thank you so much for all your kind words, it proves you truly appreciate my son to have even noticed his write up. He showed me as a surprise this morning, I am not too good with social media, but i read good journals sometimes online. I love him so much and I am always proud of him. It's a happy feeling when a child appreciate their parents.
He said you are from Ukraine, please stay safe out there and I wish you and family God's protection.

Thank you so much for all your kind words and for appreciating my son, he is my first fruit in the world and I love him so much.

Hello, mum from Ubong! May I use the pre-Christmas period to congratulate you on your son? He is a credit to his mum, his family, and plays an important role here on the Steem - where he shows us what he is committed to, what is important to him and what his plans are. You were obviously a good role model for him ;-)) I have one small request: could you help him a little with finding the woman of his life? It's always so sad to read how often he's invited to his friends' weddings without having anyone of his own... Surely you have a good connection to other mums with beautiful daughters ;-)) But above all: have a wonderful festive turn of the year with your loved ones! Warm greetings from Germany...

Thank you so much for your strong concern and for my welfare. Trust me, when my mum read this, she burst into laugh because at least a foreigner has also said what she has been singing to me as a song...😂😂 Please read her comment below.

Response from my mum:

Thank you so much my dear sister from Germany for your kind words about my son. He is still my little boy. I'm really beaming with pride as a mother, positive one and I'm grateful for your acknowledgment of my son's efforts and commitments in your platform. Him and his sister has said a lot about the platform and all of them have turned to writers , I appreciate their help and loving assistance to me since they joined here.

Regarding your request about him marrying, I have said that to him many times since last year, I even like it as another person is saying the same thing. He keep saying he needs to make money. This generation has changed from my generation. I still wish and hope that soon, he finds someone. He has promised not to sty longer before that.

Thank you again for your thoughtfulness and for being such a supportive friend to my son.
