Personally, I think he has let his fingers do the walking... but he is not in a class with the esteemed Pedophile from Alabama and the Pussy-grabber in-chief... He did the right thing, resigning today, as anything done by him from now on has a bit of a taint... Let's let the GOP be the party of serial rapists, racists, and misogynists it has always been, only much more publicly.
Even if all of the allegations are true, it still should not be reason for dismissal. This could have been used to get everyone together to support a new standard going forward, and Al Franken would have been perfect to play the role of reformed advocate. Now, we are going to be arguing over this for a long time. :(
