The More Accusers of Al Franken, The Less Likely The Claims Are True
I've been hearing that Al Franken's accusers should be believed, and that the more accusers there are, the more credible the claims. This seems to make perfect sense. As the number of accusers of Roy Moore piled up, the claims became more credible, right?
Roy Moore did his dirty deeds in private. Despite that, he was generally known as a mall troll, banned from the mall for trying to pick up young girls. That is independent corroboration.
Al Franken did his deeds in public. Eight women came forward to tell fairly similar stories about how he grabbed them with force in public places. The presumption is that there could be more too -- that Al Franken is a serial groper.
Ask yourself this. What are the chances that such behavior could take place in public without anyone noticing? What are the chances this could happen eight times?
Are we supposed to believe that every woman is unwilling to say something in the safety of a crowd?
Are we supposed to believe nobody saw any of these women jump from the sudden grab? Have you ever been grabbed? Was it noticeable?
Are we supposed to believe nobody has any corroborating evidence of the bad act itself?
One time, two times, maybe even three times ... Maybe nobody would see. But eight times? Eight times and nobody saw anything? Nobody got a picture or video of the grabbing?
Yet, we are supposed to believe that if eight women are willing to come forward, there must be more. If there must be more, wouldn't that make it even more likely that at some point there would have been a scene or some corroboration?
All that grabbing, and no corroboration. Highly unlikely.
The bigger the number without corroboration, the less likely the claims are true!
Then, you might think that someone that bold to grab women in public would take more advantage in private. Yet, we see the exact opposite. People close to Al Franken including former Air America radio host Randi Rhodes say he never did anything like that.
I believed the women. I gave them credibility. Then I looked more closely. I find that the allegations fail.

STOPPersonally, I think he has let his fingers do the walking... but he is not in a class with the esteemed Pedophile from Alabama and the Pussy-grabber in-chief... He did the right thing, resigning today, as anything done by him from now on has a bit of a taint... Let's let the GOP be the party of serial rapists, racists, and misogynists it has always been, only much more publicly.
Even if all of the allegations are true, it still should not be reason for dismissal. This could have been used to get everyone together to support a new standard going forward, and Al Franken would have been perfect to play the role of reformed advocate. Now, we are going to be arguing over this for a long time. :(
The woman who stated that Roy Moore was a mall troll is out for her fifteen minutes of fame, and has presented zero evidence to her claim. On top of that, she was a corrupt cop. Politics in general are a farce to make people believe that they actually have a choice, but even with that said, it's obvious that Roy Moore is being thrown under the bus intentionally because he is not part of the criminal cabal that behind closed doors are made up of Democrats and Republicans alike. I almost feel bad for the guy, because he will win decisively, but still be thrown under the bus by his so-called colleagues the day he arrives in Washington.
I also couldn't care less who Franken groped over the years, but he should probably go down anyway, just for supporting that treasonous criminal liar, Hillary Clinton.
