Key Games

Arsenal claimed a point at Old Trafford as Manchester United failed to capitalise on a first half lead. Scott McTominay opened the scoring and was stand-out for The Reds and Aubameyang, who's been in fine goal-scoring form, leveled the game up for The Gunners who took a point back down to London.

Chelsea moved into the top six with their first clean sheet and first win at Stamford Bridge this season. Brighton, now with no wins in five, are adapting to the new managers style and gave away a cheap first goal playing out from the back.

Leicester hammered Newcastle 5-0 in a rampant home win and find themselves third in the Premier League with 7 games played. It's been 4 years since The Foxes claimed the title and although the top two look streets ahead of other teams, Leicester look good for at least a European spot come may.

Liverpool continued their perfect start to the season and the one-nil win away to Sheffield United extended their Premier League winning streak to 16 games. The Reds lacked their usual spark and The Blades had chances to level the game up late on, but a win is a win and need 3 more to break the record of 18 consecutive Premier League wins, set by Man City in 2017-18. Interestingly, this will involved beating Leicester, Manchester United, and Tottenham.

Tottenham came out two-one winners verses Southampton despite playing much of the game with ten men. France captain Hugo Lloris made one of the blunders of the season to gift The Saints an equalising goal but Harry Kane sealed the points and Spurs move up to 6th.

Everton hosted the champions Manchester City at Goodison Park and for much of the game looked in with a chance of taking something away from the game. City came good though late in the second half with goals from Mahrez and Sterling and The Toffees poor start to the season continues.

Watford traveled to Wolves in what looked to be a tight game but it was the home side, thanks to an own goal, who claimed all three points. Watford are yet to pick up a win this season and already look strong candidates for relegation.

Steem Fantasy Premier League Standings - Week 7

There is a new leader at the top of the #sfpl as AmateurApes collected an excellent 73 points this game week - 29 more than the average. This score was helped due to Liverpool keeping a clean sheet as Decbal Dobrica's team fielded 3 defenders from The Reds line-up against Sheffield United. The manager also selected Kevin De Bruyne as captain who assisted two goals in City's win at Everton.

Dream Team - Week 7

This weeks Dream Team collected 111 points, 30 less than the previous game week, and were aided by Vardy's brace in The Foxes 5-0 win at home to Newcastle. The team also included star man performances from the likes of Mahrez, Johny Evans, and Wolves defender Matt Doherty who picked up a goal and a clean sheet in a home win against Watford.

Abraham was again the most transferred in player of the wee and again only managed to provide 2 points for the managers showing faith in his selection. Mo Salah was the most captained player and he too will have disappointed managers who gave him the armband - just 3 points this time.

Matt Doherty (Wolves) was the highest scoring player this week with 15 - a goal and a clean sheet from this marauding fullback.

On we go to week 8, selections close on Saturday 5th October at 10:30 am UTC.

Are you running the @OCDB bot? If so I think you should have it remove the downvotes from my account.

Even with all the peer pressure round me i don't play Fantasy Premier League. I think i am starting to succumb though, i want to learn how to play it.

Most difficult part is remember to at least stay on top of it real quick each week.

I made a risky move by playing the wildcard, but I got a good result with 61 points.

I jumped to the 25th place :D

That's a really good league there. I'm in second in mine on 370. I never choose the right captain.

I moved up a little again but still past rank 100. :(

All you need is two good weeks man, I was less than over 100 and consecutive weeks of 84 and then 60 took me to 50th.

Yeah I'm dropping steadily each week - see you at 100 :)

There's been serious discontent from a section of Arsenal fanbase. According to them, we've not made any progress. That draw wasn't so bad but apparently, Arsenal fans think it was shit

Arsenal haven't won at OT since 2006. I thought it was a decent game last night and a draw a fair result.
