Dtube & Steemit Have You Ever Seen a Puppy Run 3km in 26min ?

in #running7 years ago

Our Springer Spaniel puppy Sky is 6 months old and we took him for his first ever run.

He did 3km in 26 minutes and he wasn't even tired afterwards.

Me and my husband normally go for a run in the afternoons. Because it's the weekend we thought we would take Skye with us. He really impressed us and we will definitely take him with again.

If your living an active lifestyle and thinking about getting a dog I'll definitely recommend a Springer Spaniel.

That's not a puppy anymore!

Its bigger than many full grown dogs I have seen, and most dogs can easily outrun people.

I have seen smaller dogs that chase after deer, cars and all sorts of animals, ALL day long, 3km is nothing!

He was born in November 2017 that makes him only 6 months old.

A dog is a puppy up until 1 and a half years of age!

Have you seen a Chiwawa puppy against a Great Dane puppy? The One is much bigger than the other one, but its doesn't make the one dog a puppy and the other one not if they are both the same age!

Fair enough, I have known plenty of puppies that can run quite well at 6 months old, especially if they have other dogs and puppies to run with.

The only puppy that I have seen that couldn't run very well at 6 months was a Saint Bernard, mostly because it was shy, and awkward around people. (owner kept it inside too much)

Glad your pup enjoys running!
