Changing Gears & Reducing IntakesteemCreated with Sketch.

So by the looks of my last few post you might say I need to make some better nutritional choices, you'd be absolutely right. From the start of Spring I was lucky enough to travel to a few different places and have my fill of all the local foods and beers. That combination quickly reflects in my pants sizes.

I have one more trip to close out the summer in September and I'd like to not have to buy a whole new wardrobe. Also the trip is to Italy. So you know I'm not showing up all discombobulated...lol

Which bring us to why I'm drinking shakes of Soylent, a meal replacement branded as "The Food of the Future". Please save the Soylent Green Is People Joke, the product has been around since 2014 so the jokes are tired :)

I will not be on sustaining myself solely on Soylent alone (even though I've done it before for a week). I love this product because its simple and gets the need resolved. Its also versatile with what you can mix in to change its flavor and super simple to make and get on with your life. I'm not longwinded at all so here are some links because as the crypto bros say, DYOR!

For this breakfast "meal" I added a scoop of Green Superfood It contains 3+ servings of greens, fruits and veggies. Just in case that soylent isn't as balanced as it should be. Also added about a cup of frozen berries, mostly for taste and because it keeps the shake thicker.

Last but not least, a few drops of honey ain't never hurt nobody.

Have you tried Soyent? Do you no longer chew food? Please let me know in the comments!
