#WHY A GOOD COMMENT DESERVES AN UPVOTE

I joined steemit two months ago and now this is my first post after two months,why ?

Because for me ,it doesn't make sense to make a post when you have 0 followers and even after some time there are bot like followers who are not engaging.
It doesn't matter how good My content is, there should be some people who are interested in my blog and in my writing so that i will have some feedback on my writings

I DECIDED TO COMMENT ON OTHER POSTS TO GET SOME ATTENTION AND RECOGNITION BEFORE POSTING ANYTHING MYSELF.

NOW THE QUESTION IS,
WHAT IF MY COMMENTS ARE NOT HELPING MY CAUSE ,EVEN IF I MAKE SOME QUALITY COMMENTS AFTER READING OTHER'S POSTS THOROUGHLY?
FOR HOW LONG WILL I SURVIVE HERE..?

obviously not so long

That is why I would like to highlight importance of good comments here:

COMMENTS ARE THE ONLY WAY OF SURVIVAL FOR NEWBIES :
if newbies dont get upvotes and replies on comments they will not survive long enough here.It is food,water and air for them .Thus they will leave this place in disappointment

GOOD COMMENTS MAKE THIS PLACE MORE INTERACTIVE AND ENGAGING:
Comments help us create relationships by sharing ideas ,views and other importants aspects.If a person spends half an hour in reading and understanding your posts and then adds more good points to your post he deseves appreciation because no one will like to waste that much of time again and again without any benefit

GOOD COMMENTS ADD BEAUTY TO YOUR POSTS:
Good comments are best feedback they add more beauty to post,they highlight best things and also those areas where you need to improve,that is why you need to respect your commenters

GROWTH OF STEEMIT:
When good comments will be upvoted that will lift the motivation of steemians
thus we can see enormous growth.

i dont want you to upvote and appreciate comments like "nice post " , "thanks for sharing","this post is golden"
but if some people really make an effort to read and understand your post they deserve appreciation

There are some people over here who appreciate quality comments by replying with thankyou! and later they upvote all these thankyou replies with 100% upvote.Is that thankyou more valuable than 100% upvote ,surely not that is biggest demotivation for the commenter.I am not opposing self voting here but 10% upvote would be better compared to that thankyou

**Then it is also not possible to comment all good comments,but you can upvote best comments,if not best you can upvote only those which are results of higher efforts.
even your 1% upvote will make the difference **

I have seen number of newbies leaving steemit as they find it hard to survive here
as it demands alot of patience and there efforts dont get paid off
if all people start upvoting good comments this place would be alot better
