Introducing Carapthian (Maurice) to project.hope

As I think project.hope is a nice community to call my home in Steem, I would use this post to introduce myself a bit.

My name is Maurice, I am a Dutch national who moved to Hungary more then 15 years ago and have created a nice family with three beautiful children here.

It was my stepson who got me into crypto in early 2018. Although in 2012 I was close to buying some Bitcoin, but I gave up as the process was too complicated for me. So my stepson reignited the original interest.

The first token I bought in February 2018 was the Nano token. In spring I discovered TRON (TRX) and invested in the third token being XRP. Soon I started to dig into TROn ecosystem and started to invest in quite some dApps in the TRON ecosystem. Some died, some wavered and some are still alive and kicking.

While exploring TRON, I increased my investment into BTC, Cardano and COTI as well.

During 2018 and 2019 I have encountered a lot of scams and people with wrong intentions. Telegram has become my means of communication of everything involving Crypto. During this period I have learned a lot and have become more and more focussed on what I am looking for in Crypto.

I no longer chase projects which are promising the world. Based on experience this has resulted in a lot of failure and invested money loss. Rather to focus on projects with a working product combined with a clear Vision. No more chasing quick profits, rather establish a base of investment and knowledge in a smaller list of projects with working basics.

In the coming time, I am planning to bring a lot of content discussing these projects. Below I will give a small overview my main focus projects:

TRON Ecosystem.

Tron Ecosystem in my view is on its way to become an entertainment and social interaction powerhouse with a good sideway into decentralized finance running on the decentralized storage solution provided by BitTorrent. It already includes:

• Live streaming - DLive
• Blogging - Steemit
• Gambling - WINk
• Exchange - Poloniex
• JUST - Decentralized finance.
• SUN - Meme token

With a team of 4 we have created a webshop: www.tronnetwork.store where we sell TRON merchandise and merchandise of project build on TRON like:

• Crypcade - Gaming and Gambling
• Vision - Crypto portfolio management and wallet
• Bankroll - Decentralized finance

COTI (Coin of the Internet)

COTI is a blockchain company with the ambition to replace PayPal as a payment interface for merchants. This is a blockchain with real revenue which is shared with people who are staking the coins on the Nodes running on the COTI network. With my second project, www.carpathiannodes.com we are running one of the now 14 community nodes on COTI network.

Tachyon Protocol

Tachyon protocol is a project providing VPN solutions, where like in COTI the revenue generated is shared with people running nodes. In this case Carpathian Nodes is running several nodes also offering flexible staking solutions for other individuals.

Orion Protocol

Last but not least, Orion Protocol is a exchange interface game changer project with mainnet going live on December 15. Also for this project Carpathian Nodes is in preparation to run a node on this project.

This is all for now. In time, I will explain all the projects touched above in more detail. With this I would like to support a wider awareness of what is around there in the crypto world
