valid point... well, the algorithm's main goal right now, is to get people excited about steemin again, to get them to want to post daily, interact, connect and network. It does that with rewards, but the long term idea, the goal, I guess... Is to have this embraced by steemit inc, and get them to implement this.

to make people more excited about steem we should distribute our upvotes fairly between users, not to divide them again by reputation or classes. If someone is here for a long time, not spamming, creating good content, building community, interacting with others and helping them he should be supported, not those who delegate more or have more power. I know a lot of people who are making their best to support others but they do that just to make steem great, but they are not supported by big players. The best way to create rules and to earn good money is to create an app and get good delegations. But most of steem users are not developers, they are content creators and they want to be paid for that. We need to care more about content creators, developers and investors already have the big part of cake.
