Yes, I would keep posting. In some way it would be freeing.
I know a few users earning hundreds of Steem worth a week after buying in or earning and concentrating their efforts on tribes.
Responsibility trumps preference.
There is no reason to be stupid about this. Just ditch the old account and memo all active followers in an encrypted memo and tell'em to follow that account. Very simple.
For the life of me, I just can't get it how unimaginative people can be at getting out minor trouble like this.
