Yeah I didn't read anything into your post. You just stated you were new. While this is like other platforms in some ways it has some new and exciting things that you just kind of pick up. Other than the down voters that happen (and @dantheman is working on some fixes to reduce that negative experience) this platform is surprisingly civil. We've talked about a lot of controversial topics without descending into the sewer/trash talk that is common when talking about such things on other platforms. It is a pretty hopeful place.
