RE: Steemit Quest For One Million. Time required to build a $1,000,000.00 Steemit Account (Day 25 Results)
I'm glad that if this does nothing else at least if motivates you and we can keep in touch :).. It's a game of patience I believe that takes time and dedication. I'm even on the more controversial side and catch my fair share of downvotes as well.. but that is the path that I choose to walk here in order to get noticed and assert myself as a someday force to be reckoned with in this community.. :)
I was thinking about the Dtube thing as a way to expand my reach but have not had the time to figure it out... any insight?
You can do really well with dtube if you tag dtube in your tags. As there is a good chance dtube may choose to upvote your video, which is essentially the only way I have made anything on my posts! If you are going to utilize dtube, I recommend really figuring out what your dtube personality is going to be like. I dove in like an idiot without figuring out what direction I was going. I just figured, hey ill make covers and parodies and that will be cool, but I think dtube is looking for more than just that, but also people adding to the platform, which is my little tutorials have been well received. You also need to be able to commit to it daily to make it most effective. I would say just, at first anyway, maybe do a little daily explanation of your daily post, but in video form. Talk about the things that have worked well, and talk about the hard things, and the things that you have found are kind of a waste of time. If what you have to offer those watching is helpful enough, more word will spread about you! Other than that, you're doing well, so the addition of dtube will really help your account grow!
What do you use to record with?
With my parodies, I use a DSLR. For just my every day videos I just use the camera on my desktop Mac.
DSLR?
I am trying to find screen capture software so as I may walk folks through my analysis in a video... not sure what the best solution to that is.
DSLR is just digital single lens reflex. Basically just a regular 4-800 dollar camera. Most computers have screen capture built in. Do you use a PC or a Mac?
PC windows 10...
I use a Mac so it's going to be totally different, but maybe this would be of some use?
Now that is some good information....
