Hello dear Steemians,

Today I wanted to share with you my spontaneous painting that was inspired with the a bautiful photo that one of my Steemian-friend @emmamia shared with us from her holiday on the Croatian island called Krk. She made a daily photo diary with stunning photographs and small story what she and family did.

When I saw that photo of evening sky at pier and the lonely musician who were playing guitar I just fell in love with this scene and the same time I received a new watercolor paints from the famous Russian Manufacturer НЕВСКАЯ ПАЛИТРА Акварель "Белые Ночи"/"Ленинград"/"Санкт Петербург" that is well know as “White Nights” in Europe and became very popular due to its strong pigment and brilliance with transparency of colour.

Also maybe you are not aware but there is a third @Art-Venture contest “Climate change” started and today we glad to announce that we have a new Sponsor contribution @madlenfox and the total Winning pot is 50 Steem and 500 CCC (creativecoin). Please read carefully the rule of contest!

So here it is my painting:

Very well done @stef1 you did captured that moment with the musician at the Pier. :D

Thank you @cryptopie for your comment and nice words :)

This is magnificent! The color combinations are wonderful. Am pretty sure the lonely musician is having good time there with his instrument.

Thank you Max, I am glad you like this work. I am pretty sure the musician enjoying evening breeze :)

I had previously other type of watercolor paints and they were too pale, therefore, I did not know how intense these are and used a bit stronger wash. I believe next time I should try less stronger and see :)

Yeah or probably it is as a result of the paper you used.

Thank you @theunion for supporting Art :)

Beautiful watercolour artwork Stef:) I liked the little detailes you added, like the long shadow of the lamp and the sails at the little boats. They make the scene more atmospheric:)

Thank you George, you know that I love boats and there is no boats without masts or sails :)

Watercolor is not so easy to draw. My drawings at first, all the colors flowed.
Good job.

Very similar to the original! Congratulations to you!

Thank you @singa, I know what you mean, it is easy to spoil the work when using watercolor, so I try to be very careful and take time :)

@stef1 I am really honored. What a beautiful painting you did.

But I wonder where do you store all those amazing paintings and how many did you draw in your life? I bet at least a thousand. 😊
