See the winner of the last week´s Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans @jpphotography with the following entry:

Dark Clouds over New Zealand Beach. I don't remember on which of New Zealand's countless beaches I took this shot, but I believe it was somewhere on the North Island's West Coast. Despite the dark clouds in this photo, I was lucky to have almost no rain during seven weeks in this beautiful country.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

One of my favourite places in Australia, an authentic paradise located in Fraser Island, state of Queensland. Lake McKenzie is simply pure and transparent. It looks like a swimming pool.

Beautiful remote bay with golden sand and majestic coconut palm trees just outside of the little coastal town and tourist resort Julian Dolio that is located in the province of San Pedro de Macoris on the southern coast of the Dominican Republic.

Located to the northwest of Cancun, Mexico, Holbox Island is just 26 miles / 42 km long. Holbox is separated from the mainland coast of Mexico by a shallow lagoon which gives sanctuary to thousands of flamingos, pelicans and other exotic birds and creatures.

This is the brilliant sunset I saw from a glass bottom boat on the Sea of Crete, the deepest section of the Aegean Sea. It was during a wonderful boat trip starting from the old harbor of Chania, Greece.

Let's try a jellyfish for this week! This one comes from Tunisia, late in the day during the sunset. Quite hard to shot but it's worth to do it. The place was full of jellyfishes during this summer.

Beach in Recife, Brazil

In 2015, I started my trip around the world by visiting a friend in Recife in Northeastern Brazil. This beach is a popular place for soccer matches in the evening.

Tense calmness

Lately I do not shoot landscapes too much often. Obviously most of efforts goes out to fashion/portrait photography. But still time to time have huge wish to go to seaside on sunset. So that was the story last Friday and I was quite awarded for my efforts... :D

Unbelievable calm sunset shot at the coast of Baltic Sea, near Klaipeda, Lithuania. Calm, but still with a lot of drama in the skies. Very rare combination in fact. Unusual form stone is a perfect foreground to tell even more story

Wide angle lens and tripod placed in the water

Enjoy it!

Caribbean Sea. I would love to be on that sailboat right now. I remember how I felt when I was there, it was so cool. The perfect weather, the blue sky and the clear water full of fish.

That first time you arrive in Antarctica, it really blows your mind. The scale and magnitude of the place is almost incomparable to any other place I have ever visited. It's also pretty bloody cold...
