Life in Australia: Family fun at the Spring Community Festival
I love Spring in Melbourne, the perfect weather, scent of fresh blooming flowers, and yes, community festivals. Yesterday, our local council held the Spring community festival to celebrate the beginning of this festive season, and the kids were so excited to attend. The festival was a way to bring the community together and showcase all the community groups that were available. But of course the kids didn't care about any of that. All they were interested in were the rides!
Amazingly, all the rides were free, but as a result the lines were incredibly long, and we had to wait between 30 minutes to 2 hours to get on the rides. Hence, our kids only had time to go on 3-4 rides each. But in between lining up and getting on the rides, they also got to see the wonderful dressed up characters.
For us parents, there was some nice music playing in the background, some light-hearted performances, and some pretty good but expensive food. The kids weren't so much interested in eating and shoved down what they could before lining up for the next ride.
All in all, it was a really fun afternoon. Looking forward to the next community festival to celebrate Christmas.

Amazing family bonding there Jimmy and the children's faces looked really happy. Literally it can be seen in their eyes. :)
Thank you. It was a fun day. Appreciate you dropping by.
By the way, do you attend church with your family? I really missed attending Christian churches.
Yes, we are all part of a church. My relationship with Jesus navigates my life and gives me the purpose and power for my life. Did you attend church frequently in the past? And what was the reason you stopped attending?
Yeah I've been attending since I was college. Particularly in my third year. I was very keen doing my daily devotional. I started reading with New testament books then I jumped to proverbs and ecclesiastes. After that I stopped attending when finals was approaching.
Cool. Hopefully, you will be able to start attending again soon and be part of a supportive church community.
