Ulog No. 68: "It's Great to be Physically Active"
Because I woke up so early today, I fell asleep again around 9 AM and then woke up at 1 PM. I was very lethargic and grumpy since I got up this afternoon, I don't know why. Maybe because I didn't have breakfast and lunch. I was feeling so awful and even though I wanted to feel better, I just couldn't. Anything could actually frustrate me or annoy me so easily.
I remember I had to watch the recent episode of Outlander. But the Internet was too slow and the video just kept on buffering and was just constantly freezing at the ten-minute mark. It was annoying.
John said after watching Outlander that we could have omelet for late lunch. He said he would help me cut up some of the ingredients and I'd cook it. I was so annoyed because Outlander was not playing so I said "No, I will just do everything. I don't want to waste my time anymore trying to make the streaming work."
As I was cooking the omelet, I realised that was rude of me to dismiss my husband just because something else was upsetting me. So I said I was sorry for being mean and grumpy. He helped me toast the bread instead.
We sat in the lounge and ate our "Special Omelet on Toast". We tried to play Outlander again and it worked! After watching the episode, he watched more episodes of Game of Thrones. I just couldn't watch that series. It is too gory and horrific for me. So I went to the bedroom and played the movie "State of Play" on Netflix. However, I was that lethargic I fell asleep again for about an hour.
John woke me up and asked me if I wanted to play tennis whilst there was still daylight. I said that would be great. I quickly got dressed, grabbed two bottles of cold water and then we went to the tennis courts.
The tennis workout made me feel so good about myself. Whilst playing, I noticed that my stamina had actually improved. I did not get tired too quick. I could keep going for longer period of time already that I only had to drink water a few times throughout the game.
We went home before it was dark and I was in a very good mood. Physical activity has helped me get rid of my negative emotions and I will finish my day feeling good about myself.
P.S. I missed the @actifit report again. I started composing this post at 11:30 PM but I didn't know that even when I synced my Fitbit data earlier, I could lose it and actifit report card will be on the present day and so activity count is back to zero. The time now is 12:20 AM. Oh well, try again later today. My goal is to be physically fit and active anyway, and posting it on Steemit is just a bonus.
