MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Love can be aeuphemism word for hate.

  2. John gave the eulogy at church for his dad’s funeral ceremony.

  3. He felt an euphoria after hearing he’s cancer free.

  4. The song’s lyrics gaves off a euphony tone to his music.

  5. It is very euphonious hearing him speak in that tone of his voice.

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. I am still yet to find an euphemism for ponzi scheme!
  2. Most eulogies are so well written that it makes you think the departed must have been an angel on planet earth.
  3. After the final whistle was blown, the winning team went into euphoria.
  4. The opera remains a great place to experience an euphony.
  5. The solo artist's performance was euphonious, it literally made cry.

Good point re eulogies. The way I see it, it's okay to eulogize normal, everyday people. But I hate it when we eulogize politicians, criminals, war criminals, and other scum who do not deserve it.

Hahaha... we both are on the same side!
The 'bad guys' need to have a big chain around their tombstone and their epitaph should read, "Chained! Still paying for his/her wicked deeds on earth".

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. She always says euphemism to me that made me feel like I'm floating in the air.
  2. I want the Pope to deliver eulogy whenever I'm dead.
  3. I've never felt euphoria like this before.
  4. I find Gregorian chants as euphony in my ears.
  5. It sounds euphonious when I hear the monks chant.

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. Euphemism
    Because people felt the title of “garbage man” was unappealing, the euphemism of “sanitation engineer” was created.
  2. Eulogy
    This eulogy poem well displays the author's praise for maternal love.
  3. Euphoria
    It was against this uneasy background that independence was celebrated in a brief euphoria which all too soon evaporated.
  4. Euphony
    The performers were elated by a euphony of applause form the audience.
  5. Euphonious
    "The music wasn't bad," Sally replied. "I thought the violin and the piano produced a euphonious combination."

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. Euphemism makes some words or phrase easier to use in communication.
  2. The eulogy given by her eldest son was the most interesting part of the funeral.
  3. The euphoria in the office when the birth of the boss's son was announced was out of this world.
  4. The euphony in his lyric made his song more appealing to the ears.
  5. The orator's speech was euphonious
